Jailbreak for 3.1 firmware! "fun!" - Not for 3GS or iPod Touch 2G.. Sorry

This is the low down on our tools for use with the 3.1 firmware from Apple, please read the whole post in full before attempting anything. Because of changes with Apple’s update techniques (that complicate the 3GS upgrade process) this will be a multipart release. This release starts with PwnageTool 3.1 for Mac OS X - this application supports the iPhone 1st Generation (2G), the iPhone 3G and the iPod touch 1G. NB: THIS DOES NOT SUPPORT THE 3GS OR 2G/3G IPOD TOUCH. redsn0w for Mac OS X and Windows will follow sometime in the near future, please don’t bug us about it - we’ll release when we have something ready.

My top 5 Applications for iPhone/iPod Touch in no particular order ;)
-- These will only be Applications from the official iTunes App Store --- I will do my favorite Apps for a Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch in another post!
BeeJiveIM - Amazing IM program for the iPhone. It is a bit pricey but if you can spare the money it is worth it! Full landscape, SMS features, IM Push and so much more! Deifnitely worth it - http://www.linktoapp.com/BeeJiveIM
Lightsaber - This is more of just an entertaining App. It has no real purpose besides making Lightsaber noises when you swing your iPhone! It includes the ability to customize your lightsaber and your character and even write your own bio! Very fun! - http://www.linktoapp.com/Lightsaber Unleased
Flutter - Simple yet effective. This Application allows you to send Picture Mail to any cellular device! It does not actually send it as an SMS, it uploads your picture to there server then sends a link to the recipient which then allows them to download the picture to there phone, not the best solution but an alright one for now. Topple - This is a very fun little game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Stack your pieces and try and reach the top, but dont let it become off balance or it will fall! It is sensetive to your accelorameter as well. - http://linktoapp.com/Topple
Twitterrific - View posts, post replies, create new posts, and much more! With this free Application for the iPhone/iPod Touch you can do everything on your Twitter account and then some! I use this App quite a lot and recently got Twitterific Premium. - http://linktoapp.com/Twitterrific
