QuickSMS for the iPhone

QuickSMS for the iPhone and iPhone 3G is a nearly revolutionary Jailbreak Application for SMS/Text Messaging, it brings Quick Reply to the whole SMS application.
SMS is always running but I do not see any significant difference in my RAM comsumption in the last few days I have been using QuickSMS as my primary SMS Application.

Why is it so good?

What amazes me about QuickSMS and why I use it, is because it can be launched over any App you are already running on your iPhone! If you are playing a game you can pause the game and launch QuickSMS right over the game and send a quick text to your friend.

How it works

QuickSMS is always running in the background so does not need to be relaunch each time you want to send or read a text message.
It does not use any significant amount of RAM so does not make your iPhone freeze or become unusable!
QuickSMS is launched by hitting the Volume UP button once which then opens the App right ontop of whatever other App you are running.
A tap on the Volume DOWN button will close the App and you will be left with whatever you were doing on your iPhone before launching QuickSMS.
You can change the shortcut keys as well if you do not want to use the Volume toggle buttons. The only thing about using the Volume toggle is that you have to launch QuickSMS to change the Volume, it is not a big deal but might annoy certain people.

QuickSMS can also run as your default SMS Application so no more need for Quick Reply which is used with iRealSMS, MySMS, or BiteSMS.
If QuickSMS is your default SMS Application it can also be launched by tapping the normal iPhone SMS icon so no need for any more icons that clutter your SprintBoard!
You can also launch the Application while the phones screen is locked, all you have to do is hit the Volume UP button twice and it will unlock the phone and bring up QuickSMS.
You can also double tap the home button to unlock the phone as well!

This unique App also brings a new keyboard layout which is in the spirit of sending SMS Quickly.

Quick SMS also allows you to forward, save to notes, send via mail, quote message, and save the number.
You can also delay messages to be sent at a later time
You can also encrypt your messages! So only you and your friend can read them!
QuickSMS definitely deserves a lot of credit for doing what no SMS App has done before!

QuickSMS is €9.99

QuickSMS is €49.99 for the Encrypted version (Allows you to Encrypt the text messages)

Definitely worth the money! You may also fined a cracked version on xSellize

TweetDeck: Definitely worth a look

If you are a heavy Twitterrer, Tweeter, Twitter User, whatever you'd like to be called, then you should definitely check out TweetDeck.
It uses Adobe Air to run and is very light and very quick.
It puts all you and whoever you follow right in one place, along with being able to reply, direct message, create new posts, shorten links, and much more! I have also tried Twhirl but I like TweetDeck much better.

Give it a try if you use Twitter frequently.

InCase Slider or Capsule Rebel?

I have a Capsule Rebel case for my iPhone 3G from Switcheasy - http://switcheasy.com - but the Rubber is starting to much and is really loose and I have the saggy bottom I have heard a lot of people talking about. I am debating if I want to buy another Capsule Rebel (Even though I am still using my current) or buy an InCase Slider so I have more of a sleek and thinner case as well as the bulky yet protective Capsule Rebel case.
Decisions, decisions. What to do...?

Switcheasy was very unhelpful when I told them what was going on with my case. They said I would have to pay for shipping to switch it out for a colored one so doesn't have this problem... Thats stupid because its a defective case, I dont want to pay for shipping for something that I didn't break!
I will contact them again and see what I can get =\

9 Pages of Apps!

I am on my ninth page of Applications on my iPhone.. What next? Id rather not delete any of them even though I don't use a lot of them. Do I use a Jailbreak App like Categories, or Stack, or another Jailbreak app that will help organize my iPhone's icons? Or do I delete Apps off my iPhone? I am not sure yet.. I better decide soon though.
